Pre/Postnatal Lymphatic and Scar Massage
Gentle, soothing, eases feelings of puffiness.
Service Description
Malual lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmic lymphatic massage performed by a Certified Cosmetic Surgery, Lymphedema (Vodder Technique), and Occupational Therapist. This style of massage is designed to support natural lymphatic flow during the pre‑ and post‑natal period. This soothing, skin‑level technique helps ease feelings of puffiness, improve mobility, manage pain, promotes relaxation, and encourages a sense of lightness and well‑being. Clients often describe feeling more balanced, refreshed, and comfortably restored as the calming, wave‑like movements help release tension and pressure throughout the body. We offer gentle prenatal wellness lymphatic drainage beginning in the second trimester. First‑trimester clients may book with written clearance from their provider. Scar massage is one of the most powerful and accessible tools in your post-surgical recovery, and when started at the right time, it can make a significant difference in your post-op mobility and pain as well as both the appearance and function of your scar long-term. Through targeted, hands-on techniques, scar massage softens and flattens raised tissue, breaks down deeper adhesions, restores skin mobility, and helps desensitize areas affected by numbness or hypersensitivity. The result is a scar that not only looks better — but feels better too. *After 1 week, you may book your postnatal massage.*
